Claudia Solis | CO-FOUNDER
Claudia is a communications specialist with over 15 years of experience in education, corporate communications, and journalism. Born in Lima (Peru), Claudia has lived in Miami since 2001 when she initially came to study a Master’s in Journalism and later decided to stay and form a family.
Claudia was Chief Editor for the Latino market with international news agency EFE for over 10 years, a position that allowed her to take the pulse of the vibrant and growing Latino community. Leading a team of correspondents across the country, Claudia fused her passion for storytelling and journalism in a product that is a reference of the growth of the Hispanic community in the last decade.
She holds a Master’s in Mass Communications and another one in Journalism and has worked at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, Banco Santander, Telemundo, EFE News Agency and MSN.
Between 2010 and 2014 she wrote for the MSN Latino blog Ser Madre about her motherhood experiences and her multicultural family (her husband, who is from Spain and two American daughters).
In 2014 she launched Mami en Transición with her colleague and partner Mary Aviles, a blog for mothers seeking to reconcile family and professional life.
Claudia is an avid reader, lover of literature and a natural entrepreneur.
Yaneiza Echezarraga | CO-FOUNDER
A University of Miami alumna with a double major in broadcast journalism and Latin American studies; Yaneiza has wide-ranging experience in the journalism and integrated communications realms encompassing different facets, including public relations, marketing, television production and reporting as well as social media.
Most recently, Yaneiza served as account manager at C-Com Group, Inc. overseeing Hispanic public relations campaigns and efforts for Neutrogena Corporation. Prior to her work with C-Com Group, Yaneiza spent two years at GrupoUno coordinating media relations efforts with partner agencies across 13 markets in Latin America.
Yaneiza began her career in broadcast journalism serving as on-air talent, producer and subsequently assignment desk manager. Previous work in the journalism field includes collaborations at América Teve, Mun2, Azteca América and Telemundo.
Born in Cuba and raised in Miami, FL., Yaneiza exemplifies the rich bicultural identity of the new U.S. reality. She is a mom of two girls, a foodie, a health junkie and a lover of all things Latino.
