Awards, held on November 13, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. The award honors outstanding communications work that elevates and empowers Hispanic communities across the country.
Twin Minds Media was recognized for its media relations and influencer marketing campaign supporting the 2024 Latinas in Tech Summit, the organization’s flagship annual event and one of the nation’s most influential gatherings for Latina professionals in the technology sector.

About the Award-Winning Campaign
The campaign’s central objective was to drive widespread awareness, visibility, and attendance for the 2024 Latinas in Tech Summit, while positioning the organization as the leading community advancing Latina participation, leadership, and visibility in the tech industry.
Grounded in culturally resonant storytelling and built entirely on earned media and mostly unpaid influencer outreach, the strategy included:
Research-Driven Positioning
Twin Minds Media tapped into industry data revealing longstanding disparities for Latinas in tech, where Latina, Black, and Native American women collectively represent only 4% of the tech workforce. Internal insights from Latinas in Tech’s Annual Report further highlighted challenges such as layoffs and limited career mobility, with 64% of Latinas remaining in entry-level roles despite significant experience.
These findings shaped the campaign narrative, ensuring relevancy and elevating Latinas in Tech as a trusted voice on DEI, AI literacy, and the future of tech.
Earned Media and Influencer Strategy
- With 20 U.S. chapters and five international chapters, outreach included local, national, and regional outlets across TV, radio, print, and digital.
- The influencer strategy identified mission-aligned creators whose values mirrored the organization’s commitment to empowerment, leadership, and community. A total of 15 creators participated through paid and organic collaborations, spreading the word about the summit across Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Campaign Impact
The 3-month campaign resulted in 55 media placements across local, national, and regional outlets and 41 influencer posts generating nearly 587,000 in potential reach. Twin Minds Media’s strategy elevated Latinas in Tech’s visibility, strengthened its position as a leading career-advancement community, and helped unite thousands of Latinas and allies working to shape a more inclusive future in tech.
A Second Recognition: Honorable Mention for Social Equity
In addition to the category win, Twin Minds Media also received an Honorable Mention in the Social Equity Category for its work with HITN’s ¡Tú Cuentas! Cine Youth Fest, further underscoring the agency’s commitment to storytelling that uplifts diverse voices and empowers underrepresented communities.
